Poker is a strategic game that requires a lot of skill and of course a bit of luck. It doesn’t matter how skilled you are, if you consider the amount of money the high rollers put down in any poker tournament, you instantly realise that you will be bound to your home game for the rest of your life. Think again. Times changed when The Amateur Poker Association and Tour (APAT) was created in 2006.
This is APAT
Since them, it has grown into a massive organisation that now holds many events and festivals in Europe, North America and the United Kingdom. Many APAT final-table-players went on to win world titles like the WSOP, WPT, EPT, Irish Open and GUKPT.
APAT is dedicated to amateur players and the development of amateur poker. It provides affordable, professional tours that is all about competitiveness in a fun environment.
